The festive season will soon be upon us so I have invited my fabulous friend Mel (more about her below!) to join me in bringing you a festive evening of food, flowers and fun! The evening will include a glass or two of bubbles, a full demo of traditional wreath making skills by Mel (with canapes and booze top-ups where needed by me!) and a bowl food supper to enjoy whilst creating your own luxury wreath. There will be lots of textures, tones and shapes in varying forms for you to work with-not your standard pine and berry affair!
This is an informal evening with a maximum of 10 guest’s where Mel and I will share our love of floristry and experience within the industry with you.
About Mel - she lives and breathes floristry and quite frankly is a floral genius! She is fully trained to Masters Degree level, teaches at Academy of Floristry in Bournemouth and demos across the South for NAFAS. This lady knows all that there is to know about floristry and it has always been an utter pleasure to work alongside her on some fabulous jobs.
About me - I have been in floristry for over 12 years having been floristry manager for The Real Flower Company I now work as a freelance events florist (alongside S&S). I also have an MA in textiles design so have spent a lot of time studying art and design which can pretty useful when it comes to floristry!
The evening costs £80 per person and includes tuition, all materials required, equipment, canapes, bubbles (there will be more to purchase for those who would like to make a night of it!) and bowl foods to enjoy whilst creating your wreath. All dietary requirements catered for and there is disabled access.
